Key Documents below include a full assessment of a masterplan for a new sustainable community of 1200 homes and associated uses which was undertaken as part of the City Plan 2030 consultation process. The basis for current proposals remain similar but include a stronger focus on a true mix of housing options including market sale, private rent, affordable rent, retirement/later living, supported care and self build. Proposed housing will be supported by a mobility hub with strong public transport and active travel connections, a local centre with retail, business and community/education and cultural space plus a neighbourhood park and extensive new landscaped open space.
Key documents will be updated as the promotion of the site to the Council’s new City Plan 2040 continues.
